Revised Rate of Dearness Allowance to Telangana Govt Employees from 01.07.2018

The State Government of Telangana announced revision of Dearness Allowance for its employees with effect from 1.7.2018

Dearness Allowance (DA) sanctioned in the Government Order 9th read above to the employees of Government of Telangana from 27.248% of the basic pay to 30. 392% of basic pay from 1st of July, 2018.

The employees of Zilla Parishads, MandalParishads, Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations, Agricultural Market Committees and ZillaGrandhalayaS amasthas, Work Charged Establishment, who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015.

Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Aided Institutions including Aided Polytechnics who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015.

Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Universities including Professor K. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015.

The tenure of the One Man Committee shall be extended for a further period of three months upto 31.10.2018

One Man Committee headed by Thiru M.A.Siddique, I.A.S., Secretary to Government (Expenditure), Finance Department to rectify the anomalies consequent on the implementation of the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017 and make specific recommendations to the Government on the anomalies considered by the Committee. The One Man Committee has been requested to submit its report to the Government by 31.07.2018.

The conduct of personal hearing meetings with various Service Associations and individual petitioners is in process and as it will take some more time to finalise the report, the One Man Committee has sought extension of the tenure of the Committee for a further period of three months beyond 31.07.2018 i.e. upto 31.10.2018.

18% Dearness Allowance for West Bank State Government Employees w.e.f. 1.1.2018

The Chief Minister of West Bengal has announced today 18% of Dearness Allowance to State Government Employees, Teaching/ Non-Teaching staff of Educational Institutions, Employees of Panchayat and Rural Development, Local Bodies.

Current rate of Dearness Allowance is 100% effective from 1.1.2018.

From January, 2018 the 10% Interim Relief will be merged with Dearness Allowance. The net percentage of Dearness Allowance will be 125% with effect from January 2019.

Formal orders will be issued by the Finance Department soon!
